BLUE NUN QUALITÄTSWEIN
With the famous Blue Nun on its beautiful blue bottle, and made from grapes grown in Rheinhessen on the banks of the River Rhine, this is a fine, medium-bodied white wine, now perhaps a little drier than you might expect, scented and delicious. It’s particularly good with poultry, white meats, seafood and eastern dishes. Versatile enough to go with most foods. And great to drink on its own.
BLUE NUN Piesporter Michelsberg
Blue Nun Piesporter Michelsberg is produced on the banks of the spectacular Mosel River with the famous Sichels Superior Vinification method. This elegant crisp wine has a delicate fruity flavour, nuances of ripe apricots and peaches balanced by a mild acidity. A light and refreshing wine ideal to enjoy on its own or to accompany Ceasar Salads, Chicken, Seafood dishes particularly Sushi.
Serve well chilled for perfect taste!
BLUE NUN RIESLING
The Riesling grape is considered by many to be the finest of German grapevarieties, and Blue Nun’s Riesling uses them to superb effect.
It’s fragrant, fruity, crisp and lively. Good with white meats and fish.
Once again, versatile enough to go with most things. And because it’s a very light, refreshing wine, you can enjoy it as an apéritif.
Or drink it anytime you like.
BLUE NUN RIESLING MEDIUM SWEET
This fine Riesling is produced from grapes picked in the Rheinhessen region of Germany. A lusciously full-bodied wine with new world charecteristics, delivering tropical fruit flavour, particularly pineapple. Serve on its own or as an ideal match for seafood, particularly sushi, and for both Thai and Chinese cuisine, for almost any chicken dishes and Caesar salad.
BLUE NUN CHARDONNAY
A fresh, fruity Chardonnay, made in the easy-drinking style you would expect from the Blue Nun range. Made with fully ripened Chardonnay grapes in Chile, this appetizing white wine has full tropical fruit flavours, of melon and peach. Dry in style and softly balanced, Blue Nun Chardonnay is delicious with or without food.
BLUE NUN RIESLING EISWEIN
Blue Nun Riesling Eiswein is the ultimate natural German ice wine in terms of quality and refinement. Made only from the Riesling grape, it’s in a class of its own. Eiswein has a light golden colour and a rich fruitiness, balanced by a refreshing acidity. It’s the perfect wine for festive occasions, when it can be enjoyed with desserts or as a deliciously smooth after-dinner drink.
BLUE NUN LIGHT 2,2% Vol.
Blue Nun Light has only 2,2 % alc/vol and is therefore lower in calories than the regular Blue Nun. It’s light in colour, body and flavour, and particularly refreshing on hot days, without ever going to the head. Drink very cold or with ice cubes.
BLUE NUN Low Alcohol 0,5% Vol.
Blue Nun 0,5% is a virtually non alcoholic (light) beverage made from the quality grapes Müller-Thurgau, Riesling and Silvaner. Blue Nun 0,5% has
a round, fresh and fruity character and is suitable to drink as an aperitif, with food or simply on its own. Always serve Blue Nun 0,5% well chilled
(8-10°C). Calory information on the bottle: “de-alcoholised” white wine; energy 27 kcal per 100 ml, or 118 kj, i.e. 60% lower than “normal” white wine.
BLUE NUN AUSLESE
The Auslese designation (Prädikat) indicates wines of high quality. The Blue Nun Auslese from our Rheinhessen vineyards convinces the true wine lover with its racy elegance and noble sweetness, which make for a harmonious taste sensation. Ideally served with desserts.
BLUE NUN RIVANER
BLUE NUN Rivaner impresses by its pleasant aromas of rose petals and passion fruits with a long smooth finish on the palate. Rivaner is the leading grape variety of the German wine region Franconia, south-east of the city of Frankfurt on the river Main. The vineyards are surronding Würzburg, the pretty and historical residence of many famous noble personalities over the centuries. The shape of the „DI WANG“ bottle is traditionally dedicated to the superior wines of this region.
BLUE NUN MERLOT
This high quality Merlot is also made from grapes grown in Languedoc, where the Langguth Estates set the benchmark for the quality of the grape variety used for this fine red wine. Here, a combination of climate and Blue Nun’s modern wine-making techniques have combined to create a wine that is very New World in style. Blue Nun Merlot is a beautifully soft, mellow, rounded wine, bursting with berry flavours. It’s superb with red meats, pasta and barbecues. And a great, easy drinking red.
BLUE NUN Dornfelder-Merlot
Blue Nun Dornfelder-Merlot is the perfect combination of Germany’s leading red wine grape with the world’s most famous red wine variety Merlot. The black reddish wine impresses by the pleasant flavours of blackberries and blackcurrants. Medium dry, full-bodied and nicely balanced by soft tannins. Blue Nun Dornfelder-Merlot is a unique experience in the world of red wines and its easy-drinking style is guaranteed by the Sichels Superior Vinification method
BLUE NUN CABERNET SAUVIGNON
Made from grapes grown in the Languedoc, in the south west of France, Blue Nun Cabernet Sauvignon is a rich, robust, red ‘Vin de Pays’, characterful, fruity and satisfying. Its strength of personality makes it ideal with red meat, game, cheeses or spicier eastern cuisine. Or simply as a very flavourful wine that you can just relax and enjoy.
BLUE NUN SHIRAZ
An intense, soft, full-bodied Shiraz from Australia. An abundance of fruit flavours – ripe plums and sweet raspberries – with secondary aromas of chocolate and spice acquired from 12 months maturation in American oak.
A generous, mouth-filling, approachable wine from Australia’s flagship varietal.
BLUE NUN ROSÈ
This lively and fruity rosé wine has the easy going style that is the hallmark of Blue Nun. Careful selection of fully ripened red grapes from the sunny vineyards of Spain, and the Blue Nun ‘Superior Vinification’ method, are together responsible for the quality of this light and refreshing rosé. It is dry in style, but soft and fruity on the palate, delicious with or without food.
BLUE NUN Pink
Blue Nun Pink is a lively and fruity rosé wine with nuances of strawberries and raspberries from the vineyards of Germany. Careful harvest of fully ripened red grapes, timely grape pressing and the Sichel’s Superior Vinification have together produced this light and refreshing PINK. This delightful easy-drinking rosé wine is best served lightly chilled, either on its own or with food.
BLUE NUN GOLD EDITION SPARKLING WINE
Gold Edition is a high quality sparkling wine, with a full, rounded flavour.
